UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

International Marathon at Dubai / 12.02.2023

following are detailed results from this traditional fast race, which was pre-dominated by runners from Ethiopia, who placed 1st to 10th in both Men´s and Women Marathon (although in absence of TOP runners from Kenya) /

an interesting „family affair“, because the fastest female runner, Dera Dida Yami (who returned to competition after 3 years absence due to the pandemic situation and 2 years after giving birth to her daughter), is married to the reigning World Champion, Tamirat Tola, who is a sibling to Men´s winner, Abdisa Tola Adera
