The Asian AA President Gen. Dahlan Al Hamad inaugurated the first ever CECS Level I online course on 10 June 2020, designed by World Athletics, to be held in Gaza, Palestine. He praised the efforts of the organisers for arranging this course in such challenging conditions that were caused by the spread of the Coronavirus. The President also reassured the Palestine Athletics Association of further support and cooperation by the AAA in developing the sport of Athletics in Palestine.
This course will be held in 2 parts, 10-16 June theory, 20-26 practical sessions and final examinations. Ralph Mouchabahani, senior W.A Lecturer will be teaching this course and Tamer Absi CECS Lecturer from Palestine will assist him in this regard.
There are 20 participants nominated by the Palestine Federation to attend this course.
Gen. Muhammad Rajoub, President, Palestine Olympic Committee and other prominent sports organisers were also present on this momentous occasion. We also applaud the efforts of ADC Cairo who have coordinated the efforts of many departments to organize this course for the very first time in Palestine.
